Colleen Hoover, born December 11, 1979, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, is a bestselling American author known for her novels, primarily romance and young adult fiction. She gained prominence with her 2016 novel It Ends Us, which addresses domestic violence and has sold millions globally. As of October 2022, Hoover has sold approximately 20 million books and was named one of Time’s 100 most influential people in 2023. She began her writing career in 2011 and has since published numerous successful titles, many of which were self-published before being picked up by major publishers.
